Southport to Manly

Another night sail. The forecast was for SE10-15, but it was SE25-30 and a 2m swell. Pretty unpleasant conditions, made as comfortable as could be by retreating to the pilot house. Ah, the pilot house, where you can be warm and dry on a cold wet night.

Once we'd rounded Moreton Island we had to keep to the channel markers to make our way through the shallow expanse of Moreton Bay to the Royal Queensland Yacht Club. It was wind against tide, so it was choppy and rolly in Moreton Bay. Andiamo has sailed on to Moooloolaba, we'll meet after we spend a couple of days in Brisbane and continue north.

The main has had some repair work done today by Northsails, an adjustment to the sail foot attachment to the furler mandrel.
